Marianne Leth is educated as a fluteplayer from the Solist Class at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. Debut in 1999. She has since worked as a freelance musician in chambergroups, orchestras, theatres, soloist and teacher.

Teaching Diploma in 1995 and Music Diploma in1997.

Plays in the following chamber music groups: Duo Takemitsu,Den Jydske Harpetrio, Duo Stæhr/Leth, Ensemble 2000 (1992-2008) and used to play in the FluteTrio Flutention, which stopped in summer 2005.

Started "Flutronics" in the Autumn t 2004. That is soloflute and electronics cooperating with different styles - and arts, as video og design.

Had more contracts in Randers Chamber Orchestra and since August 2007 permanently employed in the Orchestra
Have been on tour with "Den Jyske Opera" playing operas for children "The Magic Flute" and "Orfeus loves Eurydike".
Teaching at "Stoevring Hoejskole" chamber music course since the summer 2004.

Duo Takemitsu released in September 2006 2 new cd's. One with nordic folk tunes and one with Japaneese contemporary music from live concerts in February 2006.
Cd-release in March 2008 Flutronics dual-disc with Danish contemporary music for flute and electronics and visuals by Jacob Nielsen.

Are going to play the musical " Beauty and the Beast" in Herning in April/Mai 2008 and is going to play as an assistent in the flutetrio " De 3 Fløjter" from Mai until September 2008.
